Gráinne was appointed as Lecturer & Course Co-Ordinator for the Certificate in Sustainable Agriculture part time course here in Gurteen College in September 2020.
Gráinne attained a BSc (Hons) in Agricultural Science in Waterford Institute of Technology. From there she was awarded a place on a Walsh Fellowship Masters programme which was ran by Teagasc in conjunction with UCD. In 2018 she graduated with a M.Agr.Sc in Agricultural Innovation Support from University College Dublin.
Gráinne’s previous experience include teaching full, part time and distance students on agriculture, horticulture and equine courses. Ranging from level 5 to level 8. As a lecturer in Gurteen her modules include: Farm Safety & Farm Assurance, Grass Production, Soils and the Environment, Farm Business and Technology, Beef & Sheep Husbandry, Animal Breeding and Welfare, Sustainable Farming in the Environment etc. Gráinne also teaches modules such as Communications and Personal Effectiveness.
