Farm Yard and Workshops
The college boasts a significant variety of workshops and farm buildings.
The state of the art Demo building consists of a large technical training workshop, a smaller technical training workshop, a welding workshop, a computer room equipped with 20 computers, projectors and a classroom above the large workshop. Workshops are accessed by large roller doors which ensures easy access for the largest of Machinery.
The 2018 milking parlour is a 30 unit herringbone Delaval parlour with stalls to convert to a 36 unit in the future. The new sheep shed accommodates 400 ewes and our slatted unit accommodates 200 beef animals. Our suckler shed hosts 75 cows and their progeny.
In current development is a 140 cow cubicle shed to accompany the current 140 unit shed on site.
