The food industry was always his destiny, after 20 years of cooking he decided to run a bar. In June 2014 Jamie took on The Bus Bar in Tullamore, “It’s a lot different from the day to day pressures of a kitchen but I love it”. Yet, drawn back to the kitchen again, “I suppose it’s my first love”, he is now Chef Manager at Gurteen College since August 2016.
